Forever New

Spring/Summer Collection 2011-12

Spring 2011 sees the launch of another stunning collection from much-loved Australian brand, Forever New. The inspiration behind the summery range is Edith Wharton's novel-turned-movie, "The Age of Innocence", which is set in New York's stylish 1870's society. The main collection is accompanied by hint of oriental design, with a "Shanghai Nights" line.

Forever New bring their usual romantic charm, sugary shades and flirty youthfulness to this latest collection. Delightful day dresses set a sophisticated tone in bright corals and playful florals, while sublime evening gowns dazzle with jewel-encrusted tulle, lace, silk and chiffon. How is it that slipping on a Forever New dress magically makes you feel that much prettier?

In reference to the colour blocking trend, there are orange and white striped dresses and skirts, with two-tone handbags.

Vintage glamour is given a 21st century overhaul with gorgeous white dresses, adorned with beads & lace. Huge netted fascinators & turquoise jewellery accessorize these pretty looks.

Asian-inspired prints and kimono-style dresses depict vibrant, tropical glamour. It's refreshing to see that not all of the models are wearing high heels. The metallic and bejeweled flat sandals reflect a more wearable side to the range.

Cocktail wear is uplifted by varying shades of coral and wispy chiffon.

Luxurious evening gowns in buttery creams and angelic whites, with a scattering of silver, feathers and feminine flair.

A nude palette of jacquard shots, cropped coats, lacy tops and embellished skirts, all make for glamourous tea-time wear.

Silky Spring florals, touches of chantilly lace, vintage clutches, antique embellishings and rosy hues. These strapless sweetheart dresses are part of the 'High Tea in St Tropez' range.

Blush-tinted, dreamy dresses twirled with romanticism, ruffles and tulle.

I am loving Forever New's enchanting introduction to Spring 2011.
