That, and of course, a spectacular array of other-worldly outerwear. A shimmery blend of textures were layered in precious gemstone tones. Tweed coats decked with geometric motifs, motley print dresses and chunky metallic wool knits and sheer skirts, all worn over a skinny pair of pants. I loved the asymmetrical strap Mary Jane's the models trotted in. A lace cobweb design spun it's way onto a few floor-length frocks, while a vivid shot of emerald green ensembles filled in the rest of the colour quota. Then came the dazzling evening gowns we've all come to love and expect from the master couturier. The whimsical range was decadently painted in an assortment of colours - hypnotic purples, intense orange, caramel, indigo blue and green. The only hint of feminism came from the frilly ties and silky blouses. Silhouettes were surreptitiously sexy with long-sleeves and high-necks, just a hint of skin shown through Victorian-inspired lace. Elasticated skirts were slung low on the hips, frail lace blouses and dresses seen in vanilla cream, while evening wear made an appearance with a single black silk taffeta cut-out gown. Quilted pencil skirts and cropped wool pants showed off ankle strap Mary-Jane pumps. His inventive use of prints are tailored to perfection with a slight Oriental influence this Fall. A bricolage of prints were printed onto silk dresses, longer-length tunics and wool trench coats. Narrow trousers were worn underneath pleated skirts. Brightly hued fur capes added texture to the masculine silhouettes. Lingerie-inspired cut-out frocks seduced with their innate feminine appeal, while deconstructed tulle dresses seemed to come undone. She had her suit lined with black fabric, displacing the sheer effect that it was presented with originally. Georgina added black <i>Louboutin</i> pumps and a clutch bag, and had her hair slickly tied back. </span><br /><br /><br /><br /><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #c27ba0;">Leighton Meester</span></b></span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">, who is always at the forefront of fashion, wore the jumpsuit way back in November 2010 to a Harry Winston jewellery launch in New York City. Leighton dared to wear the ensemble as is, revealing a whole lot of skin through the sheer lace. The harem pants are tapered and ruched at the ankle.</span><br /><br /><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><br /><br /></span><br /><br /><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><b><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: #666666;">Who Wore It Better?</span></b> This is not the ideal silhouette for everyone - with all that transparency, the genie-in-a-bottle pants and a oh-so-low neck, it's extremely tricky to wear. I prefer the jumpsuit on Georgina, it looks more modest and demure than on the other two.
